
Synthia Mani
Synthia Mani is a first year undergraduate at the Stony Brook University Honors College. Pursuing the pre-med path, she is majoring in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience. Her research interests include neurodegenerative disorders, synaptic plasticity, and computational neuroscience. She is eager to understand the pertinence of biogenetic and behavioral markers in Alzheimer’s Disease, and expand her knowledge in a clinical research setting! In the future, Synthia looks forward to investigating the influence of anesthetics on neurodevelopment and disease pathology, specifically focusing its correspondence with cognitive function and onset childhood exposure.When she’s off the clock, Synthia loves singing, playing tennis, going to the gym, crochet, and trying new foods!
