Samantha Bruk
Sam is a Master's student at Stony Brook University majoring in Psychology with a focus in Cognitive Neuroscience. She's interested in the impact of drug use on brain function, cognition, and health, longitudinal research methods, hereditary factors, trauma, and genes, environmental effects, antisocial behavior, aging, childhood adversity, and adult health outcomes on mental health, neuroimaging, geocoding, statistical codes, and memory. She is committed to her education to get a Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience. She intends to become a professor, lead her own research lab, mentor the next generation of scholars, and aid them in determining their futures. In her free time, Sam enjoys being in nature, the arts, hiking, being around her animals, music, and tending to her many houseplants and gardens.
